Thirsty Pagan Brewing
The Thirsty Pagan – or “The Pagan” as the locals call it – sports a 7-barrel brewing system and rocks a well-developed sour program that was spearheaded by former Head Brewer, Allyson Rolph. If you ever get a chance to visit Funky Town… you’ll know. Current Head Brewer Kathleen Culhane and her brewing team have a creative knack for brewing innovation… something that has established The Pagan as a must-visit Twin Ports destination. The Pagan is known for great pizza, well-crafted beer, and an outstanding sour beer program – all of which keeps The Pagan at the forefront of sour beer production in the upper midwest.
Fun Fact: Thirsty Pagan Brewing was originally named Twin Ports Brewing before the current owner, Steve Knauss, bought the business and re-tooled the operation – including the expansion of their brewery from a 2-barrel system to their current 7-barrel brewhouse.
