Brewing History Bus Tour
History of Twin Ports Brewing... With Beer... Now That's A Great Recipe!

Hop Aboard the Brew Bus & Explore Our Brewing Legacy

The Twin Ports boasts a rich history of artisans and entrepreneurs who have focused on the art and science of making delicious craft beer with the cold, clean waters of Lake Superior. From early brewing pioneers like Sidney Luce and John Gottlieb Busch – who established Duluth’s first brewery back in 1859 – to a new generation of brewers who have elevated our region to its current status as a top craft beer destination… the legacy continues. In collaboration with historian Tony Dierckins from Zenith City Press, The Brewing History Bus Tour explores the stories of Duluth’s pioneer breweries while sampling some of today’s brews along the way.
