Epic Duluth Traverse Route From Hartley to Lester
One of my Favorite Duluth Traverse Routes – Hartley to Lester
By Dave Grandmaison
This sweet 10-mile route takes you down some super fun sections of the Duluth Traverse and ends at Brighton Beach where you can finish off your ride with a cool dip in Lake Superior.
You’ll climb a short distance to the top of Owatanna Street in Duluth’s Woodland neighborhood and bomb down some sick single track, catch the Vermillion and Hawk Ridge sections of the DT before descending to the lake on the Lester River Trail. I’d love to hear what you think of the route so please leave your comments below.
Cheers! See you on the trail!
