We have a passion for mountain biking… and with the world-class trails here in Duluth… it’s not hard to see why! The Duluth Traverse has changed the game for mountain biking in Duluth. In fact, Duluth is now recognized by The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) as a Gold-Level Ride Center… a designation shared with only 5 other cities in the world. We’ve got trails for all skill levels and riding styles here in Duluth and we’re excited to get you out for a Fall Mountain Bike Adventure.

Designed for All Skill Levels
Are you new to mountain biking? No problem! Our knowledgeable and friendly guides will provide practical instruction on mountain biking techniques and trail safety while guiding you along routes that have been carefully chosen to suit your skill level and ability. This adventure will give you a chance to explore Duluth’s epic trail system with local guides who know the terrain and share your passion for the outdoors.

Departure Time >> Pickup at the Fitger’s Complex in Downtown Duluth at 2:00PM
Return Time >> Return to the Fitger’s Complex at approximately 5:00PM

Minimum Age >> 13, under 18 accompanied by an adult/guardian
Difficulty >> Beginner to Intermediate – must be able to ride a bike but previous mountain biking experience is not required

The 3-hour Fall Mountain Bike Adventure is guided by our experienced team of bike guides so you can focus on the terrain and scenery and not have to worry about logistics or transportation. Your adventure begins in Downtown Duluth where you and your fellow cyclists will be met by our Team at the Fitger’s Complex. From there, you’ll be transported to the trail (we have multiple options for all skill levels) in our comfortable tour van and outfitted with high-quality hardtail mountain bikes and helmets. Your guide will make sure your bike and helmet are properly fitted and provide you with useful information about your bikes, cycling technique and trail safety… all the ingredients for a fun, safe, and efficient ride. Then it’s time for a thrilling ride along forested trails, scenic ridge lines, and beautiful woodland streams.
This adventure is designed for all skill levels and each tour includes training in basic mountain bike technique and bike safety. The Duluth Traverse Mountain Bike Adventure will give you a chance to explore Duluth’s epic mountain bike trail system with local guides who know the terrain.
