Duluth Cider Collaboration

New Cider Supporting A Great Cause

We’re excited to announce another amazing collaboration from our Collaboration Brew Program – this time around, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Duluth Cider to craft a special cider whose proceeds will support The Minnesota Prison Doula Project.

The upcoming release of the “Blueberry Maple” on Friday, March 13th continues the community fundraising effort that we started in 2019 – an approach that has allowed us to partner with our craft beer and cider partners and leverage our combined passions to help local non-profits. We’re all very excited about our collab with Duluth Cider and the important cause it will support.

The Blueberry Maple cider will be available when Duluth Cider opens on March 13th. The official release party will start at 6:30pm. C’mon on down for music by Rick McLean and Sophie Turk and general revelry in support of The Minnesota Prison Doula Project.

The Minnesota Prison Doula Project

The Minnesota Prison Doula Project (MnPDP) is a local non-profit working at the intersection of reproductive health and mass incarceration. MnPDP provides critical pregnancy and parenting support to incarcerated parents – especially to pregnant women and incarcerated mothers in their birthing year. From birth support provided by trained doulas, to group-based and individual education and support, MnPDP’s goal is to nurture healthy relationships and increase parenting confidence and skills.

The amazing team at MnPDP are tireless advocates for women and children who have severely limited voices as they navigate the corrections and justice systems. With support from the sale of the Blueberry Maple Cider the MnPDP will be one step closer to expanding their services in St. Louis County and support mothers as they re-enter society.
