Exciting Brew Tour Updates From Duluth

New Craft Beer Experiences Lined Up For The Summer

We’ve got a couple of very exciting updates from the brewery tour world here in Duluth. There’s always something brewing in the Twin Ports… from collaboration brews to new breweries and cider houses to new experiences. And that’s what we’re focusing on today… two important brew tour updates from Duluth.

The Axes & Ales Experience Launches June 15th

We’ve been working on this one ever since our friends at Blacklist Brewing Company gave us the heads up about their newest addition to their taproom in Downtown Duluth. The Axes & Ales Experience begins with a 1-hour axe throwing session with Blacklist’s “Axperts” providing instruction about everything from axe safety to axe throwing technique. After a a little practice guests will jump into match play while sampling a few Blacklist brews. Then it’s off to Hoops Brewing for a brewery tour and a delicious lunch catered by our friends at Toasty’s Downtown. Finally, we’ll buzz over to Superior, WI and cap off the experience with a tour of Thirsty Pagan’s new brewery in the old Soo Line Depot (see below). Axe throwing, craft beer, great food, and loads of fun… that’s the recipe for a perfect Duluth Experience.

Thirsty Pagan Brewing Has New Home

We are happy to announce that The Thirsty Pagan has completed their move to the old Soo Line Depot building at 1615 Winter Street on Superior, WI! We couldn’t be happier for Steve, Deb, Kathleen and the entire Pagan team as they make the transition to their new home. We had the opportunity to visit the space during build-out and it was one heck of a project… and a big move for this fantastic little brewery and pizza parlor.

Coming Soon: The Spirits & Ciders Experience

This experience is still in development but we’re super excited and we wanted to fill you in on our progress. This once-per-month, Sunday Funday experience will start out with a delicious brunch (our new restaurant parter will be announced soon) and a complementary mimosa before heading off on an adventure that includes cocktails at Vikre Distillery and cider sampling at Wild State Cider and Duluth Cider. We’re excited for this one and we’ll keep you posted!
