New Bent Paddle Brew Celebrates Trampled By Turtles
Homegrown Music and Hometown Brews Come Together
Earlier today, our friends at Bent Paddle Brewing announced an amazingly fun collaboration with the Duluth-based and internationally renowned American bluegrass / folk-rock band Trampled by Turtles who will be playing a summer show in Duluth’s Bayfront Festival Park on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 as part of their summer tour. “Trampled” as their fans call them, recently released a new album – Life Is Good On The Open Road – after a short hiatus from touring. Now their back and we’re excited to catch the show on the 7th.
But back to the beer…
After putting their creative heads together and better understanding the band’s craft beer taste preferences, the brewing wizards at Bent Paddle have created an American Golden Ale aptly named “Trampled” in their honor. The new Trampled Golden Ale is an easy drinking ale that comes in at 4.6% ABV and 26 IBU. It has a light golden-straw color and a not-too-sweet malt profile that is dry-hopped for a fresh hop flavor on the back end. “Just like the Turtles,” said Bent Paddle Co-Founder Colin Mullen, “this beer is incredibly balanced and in-tune.”
No doubt it is. No doubt about it.
So hey… pretty cool. This new brew from Bent Paddle Brewing Company will be debuted at The Grandma’s Sports Garden Trampled Beer Release Party on July 5th at 7p and will be featured in all the draft beer trailers during the July 7th Trampled by Turtles concert at Bayfront Festival Park. After the concert the beer will remain on tap at all of Grandma’s Duluth area restaurants and bars as well as in the Bent Paddle taproom.
