Once you arrive in Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, you’ll embark on a fun paddle below the historic lighthouse which sits perched high above you. You’ll learn about the nearby wreckage of the Madeira – a 436ft steel-hulled ship that ran into Gold Rock just north of Split Rock Lighthouse during the storm on November 4, 1905. You’ll explore the shoreline and the geology of the North Shore before landing on shore to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch. Bring your camera because the views are epic.
